How to - Book and Cancel a Pool Car (Lanes) Booking 1. Open Outlook 2. Click Calendar icon in the bottom left. 3. Click New Appointment top left. 4. Click Scheduling Assistant from the top bar. 5. Click Add Attendees… 6. Under the Address Book drop-down menu, click All Equipment. 7. Click to highlight the car you require. 8. Click the Resources button to add the car. 9. Click OK. 10. From the top-middle select the Start date/time and End date/time of your required booking. 11. Once the date and time are selection, review the planned booking and time window below to ensure there are no conflicts in your calendar or the Pool Car booking calendar. 12. If there are no conflicts, Click Meeting in the top left to enter a relevant Subject and any pertinent information in the message box before sending your booking request. 13. When finished click Send. 14. This booking will then be reviewed and accepted or rejected by the calendar delegates. You will receive an email upon approval, rejection or cancellation. Cancelling 1. Open your calendar. 2. Go to the appointment and double-click to open it. 3. Click Cancel Meeting. 4. Click Send Cancellation 5. This will then be received by the calendar delegates who will need to process the cancellation to remove it from the calendar.
